• 阻性板表面光洁度对RPC性能的影响

     

    摘  要:北京谱仪最外层的MUON探测器采用国际上先进的阻性板计数器(RPC)构成,RPC共有978块,这些RPC的性能是探测器性能的重要保证,针对于此采用每块分析其中重要的3个参量来研究RPC性能,通过改变RPC的物理特性来提高这些参数。实验在分析阻性板表面光洁度对阻性板探测器性能影响的同时,给出了实验结果并加以图形说明,展示了此探测器的良好性能和优良的发展前景。

    Influence of resistive plate surface finish degree on RPC function

    Abstract: The outmost subsystem of Beijing spectrometer(BES), Muon counter was composed of 978 international advanced resistive plate counters (RPCs). Thus, the properties of those RPCs determined the function of Muon counter directly. The authors studied three important parameters of each RPC and tried to improve the physical characteristics through these parameters. Influence of resistive plate surface finish degree on RPC function was analyzed, at the same time the results were illustrated by figures. The above indicates that the counter has good performance and good prospects.
