They widely distribute in the nature. They have great application in the industry，food science，medical science and life science. There are several methods to separate and detect the phospholipids，one of these is the high performance liquid chromatography. This paper analyzed the system used to separate and detect phospholipids and pointed out the combination of the HPLC with MS is the most promising method for separation and detection of phospholipids in the future.   Key words: Natural phospholipids；High performance liquid chromatography；Separation；Detection
